Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what is not allowed on Trivacloud services. It is part of our Terms of Service. You are responsible for all activity on your servers, including activity by your own users or by software that has been compromised.

1. Illegal content and activity

You may not use the Services to host, store, send or link to:

  • Content or activity that is illegal under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia or Canada.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Such cases are reported to the authorities immediately.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights, including unlicensed software, media or "warez".
  • Fraud, scams, fake shops, money laundering or illegal gambling.

2. Email and spam

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or messages to purchased or harvested lists is prohibited.
  • Hosting websites or services advertised through spam is prohibited.
  • Outgoing port 25 is blocked by default. Running an open mail relay is prohibited.

3. Attacks, abuse and security

  • Denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, stressers or "booter" services.
  • Port scanning, vulnerability scanning or brute-force attempts against systems you do not own or have written permission to test.
  • Phishing, malware, ransomware, botnet command-and-control, or distributing malicious software.
  • Unauthorised access to any system, account or data.
  • Open proxies, open DNS resolvers or any service that can be used to amplify attacks.
  • IP address spoofing or forging email/network headers.

4. Resource usage

  • Cryptocurrency mining of any kind is prohibited.
  • Sustained high CPU, disk I/O or network usage that affects other customers may be limited.
  • Tor exit nodes and public VPN/proxy services that allow third-party traffic are not allowed without prior written approval.

5. Bot hosting

  • Bots that send spam or unsolicited mass messages, raid or flood servers or groups, or evade platform rate limits or bans.
  • "Self-bots" or automation of personal user accounts where the platform does not allow it.
  • Bots used for scams, phishing, account theft, token grabbing or distributing malware.
  • Game servers, proxies, VPNs, file sharing or public web hosting on bot hosting plans, unless the plan explicitly allows it.
  • You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp and any other platform your bot uses. We may suspend a bot when a platform reports abuse.

6. Harmful content

  • Content that promotes violence, terrorism or hatred against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability or sexual orientation.
  • Publishing personal data of others without consent (doxxing).

7. Enforcement

  • When we receive an abuse report or detect a violation, we may take action without prior notice, including limiting traffic, suspending or terminating the Service.
  • Services suspended or terminated for AUP violations are not eligible for a refund.
  • Where possible we will contact you and give you a reasonable time to resolve issues caused by a compromised server. Repeated or serious violations lead to termination.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement and may disclose information when legally required.

8. Reporting abuse

Please send abuse reports to abuse@trivacloud.com and include the IP address, date and time (with time zone), and evidence such as log excerpts or email headers.
